It seems Bio-Technology and Biology are the same. Why there are two different streams for study?
What is the difference between Bio-Technology and Biology?

Biology is the science that studies living organisms. Characteristic life processes and phenomena of living organisms.

Biotechnology is the integration of natural sciences and engineering sciences in order to achieve the application of organisms, cells, parts thereof and molecular analogues for products and services.
