error code: ORA-00028
Cause: A privileged user has killed your session and you are no longer logged on to the database.
Action: Login again if you wish to continue working.

if you never killed any session and there is no information in alert log file and trace file then it's hard to get information.

1) So now you can look in to your application, check what's happenign from the application logs? May be you have some data overflow happening which is killing the sessiions.

2) check with the UNIX sysadmin about memory usage.
if system is running out of resources, e.g. paging space will start killing processes randomly to free up some resources in server memory

E.g. a slowly responding system just before users are getting killed can be an indication of such.

Make sure enough paging space and/or physical memory is available
